Our association organize for its members wonderful hiking trips by bike in south eastern Sicily. If you love biking you can enjoy beautiful and typical landscapes, visit the baroque cities, explore the beautiful high altitude trails of Etna, beautiful canyons or through archaeological sites. The bicycle is an instrument for appreciating Sicily for both cyclists who trained for those who want to make a few walk quiet.
In Sicily the whole year is perfect for the two wheels, even in winter green and flowered lawns and a spring climate will be beackground for your walks.
Here are some of our proposals for the lovers of two wheels:
Tour “Etna”: along the high altitude path among of centenarians lush forests, lava flows, houses of pastors. All about dirt roads.
Tour "On the slopes of Etna": Leaving and arriving in Catania through pretty and typical villages admiring from all the angles, the highest volcano in Europe. Almost all on asphalt.
Tour “Baroque by bike ”: from Siracusa to Catania crossing Ragusa, Modica and the other cities of the sicilian's baroque. Almost all on asphalt.
Tour “two sea”: from Siracusa to Scoglitti through charming fishing villages and beautiful landscapes with a sea of beautiful colors. Part on dirt roads and others part on asphalt.
Tour “the Iblei's”: up and down hills between dry stone walls, baroque cities along beautiful landscape. Largely on dir roads.
Tour “Ionio”: from Catania to Castelmola passing along the coast: strong emotions, breathtaking landscapes, beautiful country. All on asphalt.
